As a child, reading books was an escape for me and reading the Tarzan series, and other books by Edgar Rice Burroughs, is one of the more pleasant memories I have. I am a mostly quiet and easy going person. For what it's worth, I am not a Type A personality or an Alpha male. I realize that making this statement is somewhat akin to personal ad suicide...but I can live with that (is there such a thing as an oxymoronic sentence? I know what you are thinking...more like "moronic"...shame on you, you don't know me well enough to be thinking like that).
I have a passion for music. I enjoy listening to New Age, Celtic, World, Folk, Rock and Roll (all genres), Country, and occasionally some blues, jazz, R B, classical and other types of music. The last couple of years, I have been collecting concerts on DVD, and enjoy them very much. I also enjoy live concerts, although it has been awhile. I think the last concert I attended, was either The Moody Blues or Loreena Mckennitt, both at the Overture Center in Madison. Although I have no musical talent, I am teaching myself the guitar and music theory. I strum a few chords and pick a few notes, and enjoy myself with that (I guess I am easily entertained).
I do not watch any TV (haven’t for over 16 years). However, I enjoy watching movies immensely…both at home and at the theater. Other interests of mine include reading, puzzles, board games (chess, scrabble, etc.), biking, ice skating, roller blading and sailing.
I would like to meet a woman for companionship…spending time together, getting to know each other, developing a healthy and fulfilling relationship together, sharing physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual intimacy. Chemistry or mutual attraction is desirable (physical (I prefer someone who is H/W proportionate), personality and character).
