I'm an artist and a photographer and have an idea for a photo shoot I would like to do. This is a semi-nude shoot (model would be included in the discussions of limits), NOT sexual, involving small amounts of pyrotechnics under the supervision of a qualified engineer (male) for technical reference and and myself (female) behind the camera. This has the potential to be a non-fire shoot if we can simply get good and beautiful shots and change the game-plan a little, but a black woman with confidence in her body and willingness to brave a bit of SAFE fire would be optimal. Any pyrotechnics will be tried out on myself prior to shoot to insure COMPLETE SAFETY. Any other race would be fine too, but I think the best visually striking combinations would be dark skin and orange and yellow lighting. But if you're a confident light-skinned fire-bug, by all means write back. I can't stress the safety factor enough. This is not a bid to burn anybody up. Also, this is not a political statement. I am purely interested in the visual. Location can be discussed and privacy issues etc. Timeline is up in the air as I would like to meet the the model and know her contributions/limits to do this. Model will get CDs of shots and if I print them, I will happily provide copies. I'm a broke artist but if you want compensation for your time we can work it out too, just let me know.
If you send a picture, great! I still would want to meet prior to shoot to figure details out, but in the unlikely case I get an avalanche response, a photo would be nice. :)
